Don't Make This Silly Mistake With Your Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to get a robot vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It makes use of AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so that you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it using your voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It has an elegant, top piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in its place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to capture sand, small gravel and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The J7+ is a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water that allows them to vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice for those who are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a few buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas and alter your home map, or change the room's label.

If you choose the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it is done with relative ease. It comes with a huge LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The main reason to buy the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does a really good job of collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price price.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available.  Robot Vacuum Mops  of eufy models are significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive and has many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The primary feature that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which does not require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
